Keep equipment clean and in good working condition A machinery and equipment manufacturing plant seeks a Mechanical Lathe Operator in São Carlos (Vila Morumbi). **Responsibilities:** Receive technical drawings, work orders, parts, and raw materials to be machined on lathes. Read and interpret technical drawings to identify required programming and lathe adjustments ensuring machined parts meet specifications. At the start of each shift, check lubricating oil and cutting oil levels in the lathe to prevent equipment damage. Operate lathes to machine parts made of steel, stainless steel, bronze, aluminum, and other materials for equipment assembly and inventory, in accordance with work orders and technical specifications. Measure parts using specialized tools such as calipers and micrometers to ensure machining complies with specifications. Clean equipment to prevent and protect against potential damage. Perform tasks relevant to standard Mechanical Lathe Operator routines. Position located in São Carlos / SP. Previous experience as a Milling Machine Operator, Lathe Operator, Machining Mechanic, or Mechanical Fitter may indicate suitability for some duties of this position.
