Job Summary: Operate harvesters by activating the hydraulic system, adjusting attachments, and ensuring sugarcane harvesting according to schedule, while monitoring operational quality and performing daily maintenance. Perform daily maintenance on the machine **Job Description:** ---------------------- Operate harvesters by activating the hydraulic system to initiate operations, adjusting attachments—including tip cutting, base cutting of sugarcane, elevator, cane chopper knife, and conveyor belt—to harvest sugarcane according to the pre\-established schedule or as required by unforeseen circumstances. Synchronize operation with the onboard navigator (for any activity to be performed) and the radio for issuing service orders and\\or leadership instructions. Monitor harvesting operation quality, observing aspects such as: stubble length, synchronization of knives, topping, fragmentation of stalks, and trampling. Ensure optimal operating conditions (row divider height, harvester speed, base-cutting pressure, primary extractor speed). Perform daily maintenance (battery and radiator water levels, engine oil level, hydraulic oil level, air filter and cab cleaning, general machine wear, base-cutting knife replacement). **Essential Requirements:** ------------------------------ Driver's license class C, D, or E. Knowledge or experience in harvesting.
