Description

Job Summary: Performs pipe grinding and marking, assists the department with material transportation, and operates equipment such as overhead cranes and pallet jacks. Key Highlights: 1. Operation of grinders and marking equipment. 2. Transportation of materials using overhead cranes and pallet jacks. 3. Knowledge of the metallurgical industry. **Responsibilities:** Performs internal pipe grinding using a rotary grinder (grinding wheel) when non-conforming welds are present. Performs pipe end grinding using a straight grinder (beveling). Assists the department as required by daily routine, transporting pipe scrap, sheet metal remnants, parts, and materials within company premises using overhead cranes or pallet jacks. Marks pipes using marking machines or industrial markers. Removes excess weld material using grinding equipment (steel rings). Changes tools on ring expansion equipment (press).
