This position requires on-site work. RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES: Perform maintenance services on the permanent way superstructure and infrastructure; Monitor and supervise contracted companies, ensuring compliance with scheduling, productivity, quality, and safety requirements; Comply with information security standards and identify unsafe conditions within the scope of work; Perform or assist in shunting and operation of railway assets, when certified and within established limits; Lead maintenance teams during emergency responses to anomalies that halt railway traffic; Conduct and monitor material and service prospecting activities through track surveys; Perform and support responses to anomalies, ensuring safety and promptness. Assist in performing thermite welding under continuous guidance; Monitor and conduct shunting operations of wagons and locomotives, when necessary, due to ballast maintenance on tracks.
