Job Summary: This professional will be responsible for providing balanced and pathology-specific meals under the guidance of a nutritionist and performing production-related activities. Participate in training on hospital diets Provide balanced and pathology-specific meals according to the institution's dietary standards and under the guidance of a nutritionist, in addition to performing production-related activities. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Transcribe all necessary information from the diet map adjusted by the clinical nutritionist to ensure appropriate meal provision based on patient pathology and habits; * Prepare and distribute various special diets intended for patient meals; * Prepare juices and salads included in patient meals; * Record patient acceptability on designated forms; * Clean dishes, utensils, equipment, and the environment, as well as maintain their preservation; * Refill water bottles for patients and manage fluid restriction when necessary; * Monitor the entry and exit of dishes, cutlery, and utensils from the kitchen areas; * Perform other duties as required or at the discretion of the supervisor; * Participate in training on hospital diets, types of isolation, among others. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed high school education; * Knowledge of hospital diet composition, food characteristics, behavioral conduct, and hygiene and sanitation standards. **SPDM** \- Associação Paulista para o Desenvolvimento da Medicina is a non-profit, philanthropic civil association, federally, state, and municipally recognized as being of public utility, respectively by Decrees No. 57\.925 dated 03/04/1966, No. 40\.103 dated 05/17/1962, and No. 8\.911 dated 07/30/1970\. The Municipal Hospital Dr. José de Carvalho Florence provides 100% free SUS services. **History** Municipal Hospital Dr. José de Carvalho Florence began operations in 1978 with the inauguration of its Emergency Unit, then named “Dr. Carlino Rossi Emergency Unit”. Due to increasing demand and the need for continuity of care provided at the Emergency Unit, the Surgical Center was inaugurated in 1988, and in 1990, the first ward was constructed to support the Emergency Unit, enabling the unit’s first clinical and surgical inpatient admissions. In 1995, the hospital was further expanded with the construction of two additional wards and the Obstetric Center. In 2004, another expansion added one more ward to the hospital complex. This unit was named “Dr. Campoy Clinic”. In 2005, the latest surgical clinic was inaugurated, and in the following year, concluding this phase of the master plan, the Outpatient Department was opened. In the same year, specifically on July 25, 2006, SPDM – Associação Paulista para o Desenvolvimento da Medicina assumed management of the Municipal Hospital Dr. José de Carvalho Florence, with the objective of operationalizing and executing the unit’s health activities and services.
