**We are looking for a Mason Assistant to join our team.** **JOB MISSION:** Assist masons in construction and/or maintenance projects, perform manual preparation tasks. **SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Assist masons or supervisors on building construction and/or renovation projects, prepare materials, and clean work areas. * Excavate trenches and pits, cut grooves in floors and walls, excavate soil, plaster, and mortar, enabling foundation work, installation of water and/or electrical pipelines, and construction execution. * Load, unload, and transport construction and/or renovation materials; mix cement, sand, water, gravel, and other materials according to prescribed procedures and manuals to prepare concrete or mortar. * Clean and organize materials, tools, equipment, or any other items as instructed, and maintain the cleanliness and order of work sites. * Perform any other duties inherently related to this position, as directed and instructed by the immediate supervisor. **TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE** * Knowledge of construction and building projects * Knowledge of minor repairs (maintenance)
