Join us in creating beauty! **Responsibilities and duties** **Your day-to-day will include:** * Designing and building microservices architectures, data pipelines, and high-availability solutions on AWS, with emphasis on cost-efficiency and non-functional requirements; * Ensuring end-to-end data integrity, consistency, and monitoring of volume/anomalies (from source to consumption); * Developing and optimizing data models (relational, non-relational, and analytical) and real-time or near real-time event processing; * Identifying bottlenecks in complex queries and proposing indexing and partitioning improvements; * Creating and documenting structured technical decisions (ADRs and Design Docs); * Ensuring observability and active production environment monitoring, leading troubleshooting routines, root cause analysis (RCA), and post-mortems; * Adopting a *security-first* mindset, increasing automated test coverage and application reliability; * Translating abstract ideas and product requirements into actionable technical tasks, actively participating in epic refinement; * Supporting team technical growth through mentoring, pair programming, code reviews, and feedback—establishing yourself as an internal and external technical reference. **Requirements and qualifications** **What you need to have or know:** * Solid backend development experience, preferably using **Node.js (with React)** and/or **Python**; * Mastery of modern architectural patterns: SOLID, Clean Architecture, Hexagonal Architecture, EDA (Event-Driven Architecture), and DDD; * Robust experience with microservices architecture and REST API design; * Solid hands-on experience with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB, MongoDB, DocumentDB); * Practical knowledge of messaging/streaming with Apache Kafka; * Strong experience within the AWS Cloud-Native ecosystem (especially: Lambda, S3, SQS/SNS, RDS, ECS/EKS, EC2, API Gateway, AWS Glue, and ElastiCache); * Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitFlow, GitHub Actions, Sonar) and automated testing strategies (unit, e2e, regression); * Analytical ability to solve complex problems, perform monitoring (observability), and manage scheduled routines (Jobs/Cron); * Adaptable profile focused on performance, security, and rapid learning capacity. **Nice-to-have qualifications:** * Prior experience in Data Analytics or Business Intelligence teams; * Knowledge of data-focused observability tools (e.g., New Relic); * Experience with experimentation tools (e.g., VWO, Optimizely, Firebase A/B Testing); * History of mentoring and developing junior professionals; * Daily use of AI-powered development tools. **Additional information** **OUR BENEFITS** We’ve already mentioned that Grupo Boticário is the **best** and **largest** beauty ecosystem, right?
