To support this mission, Syngenta’s HSE Team is seeking an HSE Coordinator in Formosa. This role will uphold SHE as a core value through team leadership, proper implementation and execution of the company’s HSE policies and procedures, risk management, and initiatives to enhance engagement and SHE culture. **Responsibilities:** * Coordinate the HSE team to meet the company’s established HSE policies and requirements. * Lead team development with clear objectives. * Coordinate and keep up to date technical document development and review processes, such as the Risk Management Plan (PGR) and Occupational Health Program (PCMSO). * Ensure the health, safety, and environmental management system is implemented and properly audited across facilities. * Promote initiatives that elevate health, safety, and environmental culture and engagement across operations. * Support and actively participate in planning and executing periodic audits and inspections, using management indicators. * Prepare, control, and manage the HSE department budget. * Coordinate and keep up to date HSE risk management and facility emergency systems. * Analyze risk activities using tools such as HAZOP, FMEA, and Risk Matrix, among others. * Ensure integrated emergency response and drills. * Establish and analyze measurable performance indicators and action traceability. * Facilitate incident and near-miss investigations, identifying root causes. **Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with specialization in Occupational Safety Engineering. * Solid experience in Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) management systems. * Ability to lead people, demonstrating communication skills, motivation, and ease of teamwork. * Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, with advanced knowledge of Power BI. * Thorough understanding of Brazilian legislation on health, safety, hygiene, and environment. **Preferred:** * Practical use of generative Artificial Intelligence tools in daily tasks—for report writing, data analysis, and decision support. * Ability to identify opportunities for automation and AI integration in HSE routines. * Openness to experimenting with new technologies and proposing digital solutions to operational challenges. * Data analysis skills applied to risk management and safety performance indicators. * Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma for waste elimination and process improvement. * Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015/14001:2015/45001:2018\. * Advanced English proficiency. **Additional Information** **What We Offer** * A culture that celebrates diversity and inclusion, fosters professional development, and seeks balance between professional and personal life to support team members.
