**Job Description** We are seeking a **Senior Oracle DBA** with expertise in **SQL Server** to join our database team. This professional will be responsible for ensuring **availability, performance, security, and scalability** of production database environments, operating both in **on-premise infrastructures and cloud environments**. We seek an analytical, proactive individual with strong operational accountability, capable of supporting critical systems as well as participating in evolution projects for mission-critical environments. **Location:** São Paulo **Work Model:** Hybrid: 2 days per week onsite at the office **Responsibilities and Duties** * Administer **Oracle Database** environments in production and pre-production (homologation) * Perform basic administration and support for **SQL Server** * Administer data replication using Oracle GoldenGate * Monitor and ensure **high availability and performance** of databases * Carry out **installation, configuration, patching, and upgrade** activities for databases * Conduct **performance analysis and optimization** (query tuning, indexing, execution plans) * Implement and maintain **backup and recovery strategies** * Respond to **incidents and perform troubleshooting** in critical environments * Participate in **database migration, upgrade, and modernization projects** * Support **automation of operational routines** * Ensure compliance with **data security and governance practices** * Support continuous improvement initiatives for the data platform **Requirements and Qualifications** * Experience with **Oracle Database administration (11g, 12c, 19c or later)** * Experience with **SQL Server** at administration or support level * Knowledge of **backup and recovery (RMAN)** * Experience with **Data Guard** or other Oracle high-availability solutions * Knowledge of **performance analysis and SQL tuning** * Experience in **Linux environments** * Familiarity with **SQL scripting and automation (Shell or similar)** * Experience with **database monitoring** **Desirable Qualifications:** * Experience with **Oracle Exadata or ODA** * Knowledge of **GoldenGate or data replication** * Experience with **cloud platforms (OCI or Azure)** * Experience with **monitoring tools such as Zabbix, OEM, Grafana, or similar** * Experience in **database migration projects**.
