Inventory Supervisor

Description

Monitor and carry out activities related to receiving, inspection, storage, inventory control, and shipment of materials to customers, ensuring appropriate stock levels and work quality in accordance with company standards and procedures. **Responsibilities and duties** * Monitor and carry out material handling operations, selecting the appropriate transportation method for each type of cargo; * Plan the arrangement of stored materials to facilitate identification, location, and handling; * Conduct inventory inspections and activities together with the team; * Establish staffing schedules aligned with required operational movements; * Supervise employee shifts and attendance; * Ensure that tasks outlined in the Work Guidance Document are being performed; * Ensure that occupational health and safety regulations are being followed by the team; * Conduct and/or support daily safety briefings with the team; * Maintain contact with freight carriers and suppliers regarding material deliveries and returns; * Gather priority information from internal customers regarding material needs to guide scheduling of shipments and team activities within the units under supervision; * Interact with customers to address their requests and ensure delivery deadlines are met; * Guide and train team members in performing their duties. **Requirements and qualifications** * Completed high school education; * Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; * Experience in logistics and/or warehouse operations; * Experience in people management. **Additional information** We offer a competitive benefits package aligned with market standards, which **may vary** depending on the operation/contract: * Medical assistance; * Life insurance; * Funeral assistance; * Meal allowance (meal voucher and/or food voucher); * Transportation allowance (transportation voucher or chartered service); * Partnerships with educational institutions; * Professional development and well-being programs; * Profit and Results Sharing Program (PRP), subject to achievement of established targets. **Important:** * Benefits granted per employment contract and/or collective agreement; * Benefits **may not be** cumulative; * Specific conditions will be communicated during the selection process and upon hiring.
