Bourbon Gastronomia is seeking a Line Chef to join the team at Bourbon Convention Hotel Santos. RESPONSIBILITIES: Guide the team on services, processes, and procedures for executing routine departmental activities, aiming to maximize productivity. Delegate tasks according to daily demand, paying attention to work schedules, and oversee restaurant and event setup to ensure compliance with standards. Provide customer service by presenting menus and explaining dish and beverage features. Diagnose and forecast procurement needs for supplies, equipment, and operational materials, issuing corresponding purchase requisitions and orders to the procurement and warehouse departments. Monitor inventory levels jointly with the controller's office. Ensure staff uniform compliance, personal hygiene, and professional appearance through training and supervision of service delivery, guaranteeing service quality and customer satisfaction, and managing direct reports in collaboration with superiors. Supervise completion of departmental control spreadsheets, maintaining activity history records. Delegate responsibilities and monitor team performance, providing continuous feedback and guidance. Communicate and align the team with organizational strategy, values, and culture. Monitor, identify, and propose actions to improve the organizational climate within the area.
