About the Team ZF’s Supplier Quality team delivers excellence in service to internal and external customers, continuously striving for optimal performance from business partners. Acting with agility, focus, and depth, the team identifies and eliminates issues in suppliers’ production processes while challenging them to achieve continuous improvement. What You Can Expect as a Senior Quality Engineer: Lead the planning and execution of quality deliverables during new product development and engineering changes, guiding APQP activities across all phases—from feasibility through product launch (SOP); Ensure compliance with applicable project and customer requirements, and coordinate preparation, review, submission, and approval of quality documentation—including PPAP, FMEA, Control Plan, MSA, SPC, and other APQP deliverables; Serve as the focal point interfacing with customers, engineering, manufacturing, and local and global cross-functional teams during product/process development; Manage non-conformities, risks, and corrective actions using structured problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa); Support audits, monitor quality metrics, and ensure compliance with IATF 16949 and customer-specific requirements (CSRs) during the development phase. **Your Profile as a Senior Quality Engineer:** Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Production, or related fields); Proven experience in Quality Engineering focused on new product development in the automotive industry, including risk management and structured problem solving; Hands-on experience with APQP, PPAP, and AIAG/VDA Core Tools (FMEA, Control Plan, MSA, SPC); Knowledge of IATF 16949 requirements and customer-specific requirements (CSRs); Advanced/fluent English; **Preferred Qualifications:** Experience in automotive software validation and embedded software development processes; Knowledge of Automotive SPICE (ASPICE), ISO 26262, and/or ISO/SAE 21434.
