**Job Opening: Backend Developer IoT** **Code: 425\-26** **Work Model: Remote** **Mon–Fri \| 08:00 to 17:00** **Contractor (PJ)** \| **Indefinite Term** RESPONSIBILITIES * Develop low-level software and embedded systems, focusing on building efficient, scalable, and high-performance solutions for resource-constrained environments. * Design, implement, and maintain high-performance, reliable backend systems for integration with IoT devices and BMS solutions. * Optimize software, communication, and resource consumption across connected devices and services. * Conduct performance analysis, benchmarking, profiling, and troubleshooting of complex issues in Linux/Unix environments. * Own the full development lifecycle end-to-end, including technical design, implementation, code review, architecture documentation, continuous integration, deployment, and technical support. * Actively contribute to the product’s technical evolution by proposing architectural improvements, performance enhancements, reliability upgrades, and maintainability optimizations. * Collaborate closely with international teams to implement new features and align on technical decisions. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS * 7+ years of software development experience. * Advanced English proficiency for international collaboration. * Strong expertise in C or C\+\+, with practical knowledge of modern C\+\+ (C\+\+17 or later). * Proven experience in memory management, RAII, smart pointers, and optimization for resource-constrained environments. * Experience with concurrency and parallelism in high-performance applications. * Solid experience with Deno runtime or equivalent experience with Node.js and TypeScript. * Proficiency in performance optimization, benchmarking, profiling, and troubleshooting. * Extensive hands-on experience in Linux/Unix environments. * Experience in low-level development and/or embedded systems. * Practical knowledge of at least one of the following protocols: BACnet, Modbus, KNX, or MQTT. * Experience with version control (GitLab). * Familiarity with CI/CD practices and container-based solutions. * Rust experience is a plus.
