We are seeking faculty members with academic backgrounds in **Information Technology** (Computer Science, Data Science and Machine Learning, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Systems Analysis and Development, etc.) to join our team. **What will you do in this role?** * Carry out higher education, research, and extension activities outlined in CEUB’s work plans, as well as academic administrative duties; * Understand and embrace CEUB’s pedagogical framework; * Use teaching and research as tools to foster scientific thinking and reflective, creative reasoning among students, sustaining their desire for continuous improvement; * Fulfill all responsibilities assigned to faculty members, especially by submitting, each academic term, the teaching plan for courses taught, delivering student assessment results within deadlines, and participating in collegiate body meetings—as stipulated in the Statute—and in all scheduled institutional events related to teaching, research, and extension. **Areas of Expertise (Courses):** **DATA SCIENCE AND ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE**: NoSQL Databases; Business Intelligence; Data Science; Artificial Intelligence. **IT INFRASTRUCTURE**: DevOps Integration; Computer Organization and Architecture; Computer Networks. **MATHEMATICS AND STATISTICS FOR COMPUTING**: Linear Algebra and Analytic Geometry; Statistical Data Analysis; Calculus for Computing; Operations Research. **PROGRAMMING**: Algorithms and Data Structures; Formal Languages and Automata; Back\-end Programming (Python, Java, or C\#); Front\-end Programming (Web Interfaces); Mobile Programming; Programming for Data Science (Python); Graph Theory. **Work Location and Shifts:** **Campus:** Asa Norte and Taguatinga. **Shifts:** Morning shift (08:00–10:50\) Afternoon shift (14:00–16:50\) Night shift (19:10–22:00\) **What are the stages of the selection process?** * Curriculum and selection criteria review. * Competency-based interview and evaluation of a mini-lecture delivered before the selection committee. ***Note: To complete your application, you must provide your Lattes CV URL on Empregare.*** * ***All stages of the selection process are both eliminatory and classificatory.
