JOB SUMMARY: Ensure the planning, execution, and control of environmental preservation activities across manufacturing units, proposing indicators, ensuring compliance with internal policies, legal requirements, and certification body standards, implementing procedures, practices, programs, and operational and awareness-raising routines, guaranteeing licensing and operationalization of extraction and manufacturing activities, as well as preserving community relations and the sustainability of the Cal business. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Implement the management systems proposed by the organization, ensuring their sustainability through coordination of environmental programs and integration with related departments. * Develop environmental management projects, programs, research, and activities both within and outside the company, aiming to maintain environmental quality and foster a partnership between the company, employees, and the community. * Collaborate with other managers to support change processes, system and process redefinition, or introduction of new organizational programs, aiming to minimize negative environmental impacts and ensure compliance with legislation. * Ensure application of Operational Excellence Tools defined in corporate planning, supporting implementation and conducting audits to identify non-conformities and ensuring their sustainability across units. * Monitor local environmental quality by tracking air, water, and soil pollution sources, aiming to comply with environmental legislation. * Ensure compliance with environmental requirements by inspecting daily operational controls and conducting internal audits. * Support immediate supervisors on matters inherent to the role, reporting and discussing issues and irregularities to assist in defining procedures and actions to be taken; EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree with specialization in this field or related areas.
