Comply with safety regulations and operational procedures. **General Description:** Responsible for operating, monitoring, and controlling water treatment processes to ensure quality standards are met in accordance with current technical and environmental regulations. **Main Responsibilities:** * Operate water treatment plant systems and equipment (e.g., pumps, valves, filters, chemical dosing units, etc.); * Control treatment processes including coagulation, flocculation, sedimentation, filtration, and disinfection; * Monitor water quality parameters (e.g., pH, turbidity, chlorine) and perform sampling and analyses; * Adjust chemical dosages as required by the process; * Complete operational reports and control records; * Identify and report equipment failures, irregularities, or maintenance needs; * Comply with occupational health and safety, environmental, and operational procedures; * Support cleaning and organization activities at the plant. **Requirements:** * Completed high school education (technical training in Chemistry, Sanitation, Environmental Science, or related fields is preferred); * Prior experience operating water treatment plants or similar processes; * Basic knowledge of water treatment and quality control; * Familiarity with occupational safety and handling of chemical products. **Behavioral Competencies:** * Attention to detail; * Responsibility and operational discipline; * Ability to follow procedures; * Organization and proactivity; * Effective communication for incident reporting.
