Strong communication skills and field proactivity **Occupational Safety Technician Position** **Permanent employment.** **Benefits:** · Group life insurance; · On-site meals: breakfast, lunch, and dinner (when traveling); · Transportation allowance (public transport) when at headquarters; · Career development plan; · Medical and dental assistance for appointment scheduling (SECONCI) – employees only, not extended to dependents; · Company-covered transportation between construction sites and hotels; **Requirements:** * Completed Technical Education in Occupational Safety, with active registration at the Ministry of Labor and Employment (MTE). * Prior experience in civil works, preferably in geotechnics and retaining structures. * Knowledge of applicable Regulatory Standards (NRs) for the sector (e.g., NR-18, NR-35, NR-33, among others). * Experience in highway construction projects is desirable. * Strong communication skills, proactivity, and ability to operate effectively in field environments. * Driver’s license category B and availability for travel (long- and short-term) and visits to construction sites and accommodations. **Responsibilities:** * Ensure compliance with occupational safety regulations on geotechnical and retaining structure works (e.g., reinforced soil walls, anchored diaphragm walls, slopes, etc.). * Develop and implement Environmental Risk Prevention Programs (PPRA), Occupational Health Monitoring Programs (PCMSO), and other mandatory documentation. * Conduct workplace inspections to identify hazardous conditions and propose corrective actions. * Deliver orientation and refresher training on safety and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). * Investigate accidents, issue reports, and propose preventive measures. * Support audits and inspections conducted by regulatory agencies (e.g., MTE, CREA). * Assist in meeting legal requirements and applicable regulatory standards for sector activities. * Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and field teams to ensure a safe working environment. **Advantages:** * Proven experience in highway or heavy infrastructure projects. * Additional certifications in Confined Spaces, Working at Heights, and/or First Aid. * Familiarity with occupational safety and health (OSH) document management on digital platforms (e.g., SOC, Sienge, etc.).
