About the Position We are looking for an Environmental Operations Supervisor to lead the operational management of technical activities carried out by the company. The professional will be responsible for receiving and organizing projects, allocating internal and external technical teams, monitoring deadlines, overseeing activity execution, and maintaining active communication with clients, suppliers, and environmental agencies. They must also report key progress and decisions to the Technical Coordination. This position requires an organized, communicative, collaborative, and solution-oriented profile, capable of handling multiple simultaneous demands, identifying bottlenecks, and proposing practical solutions that contribute to project success. Key Responsibilities - Operate and manage received technical projects; - Organize, review, and oversee the allocation of internal and external technical staff; - Schedule technical activities, including field visits, meetings, deliveries, submissions, and other tasks; - Monitor progress of technical activities according to client-established deadlines; - Monitor internal and external deadlines, identify risks of delays and bottlenecks; - Periodically report work progress to Technical Coordination; - Communicate with clients regarding status updates, pending items, and project needs; - Participate in and/or lead meetings with clients, environmental agencies, suppliers, and technical teams; - Support deadline renegotiation when necessary, aligning requirements; - Interface with suppliers to coordinate schedules, budgets, and documentation; - Support the technical team in exceptional situations, assisting in problem resolution; - Identify flaws and opportunities for improvement in operational processes; - Contribute to meeting deadlines, organizing workloads, and maintaining internal quality standards. Specific benefit details are negotiated during the hiring process. **Requirements and Qualifications** Technical Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in environmental fields (Chemistry, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Geology, Biology, or related disciplines); - Proven experience in environmental consulting, environmental studies, environmental licensing, or technical project management; - Availability for 44-hour weekly on-site work; - Residence in Porto Alegre/RS or Metropolitan Region; - Driver’s license Category B and driving experience. Desirable Differentiators - Prior experience in supervising or supporting technical teams; - Experience serving clients and environmental agencies; - Knowledge of QGIS, ArcGIS, AutoCAD; - Additional technical training in the environmental field; - Fluency in English and/or Spanish.
