Job Summary: Installs and repairs telecommunications systems, assisting with maintenance and installation of networks and equipment. Key Highlights: 1. Installation and repair of telecommunications systems in various environments 2. Assistance with repairing devices and installing networks 3. Work performed in accordance with safety and quality standards Performs installation and repair services for telecommunications lines and devices, switching and telephony equipment, transmission and telephony systems, and power supply systems for telephony in commercial, industrial, residential, rural, urban establishments, and public agencies. Assists with repairing telecommunications devices in laboratories. Assists with installing internet, telephone, TV, and computer network devices—whether metallic, fiber-optic, radio-based, or coaxial cable. Adheres to safety, hygiene, quality, and environmental protection standards. Trains new employees at junior levels. Installs hardware, conduits, raceways, and accessories (indoor and outdoor). Mounts and dismounts CTOs, CEOs, antennas, and other components. Performs connectorization.
