Job Summary: Professional responsible for performing preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and building systems, ensuring proper operation and compliance of facilities. Collaboration in the installation of new equipment Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on motors, machines, equipment, and mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and building installations. Monitor all maintenance, installation, or service activities that may compromise institutional facilities; conduct fault diagnostics, perform repairs, replace parts, and collaborate in the installation of new equipment. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on building systems, machines, and equipment, replacing defective parts and components to ensure assets remain fully operational; * Perform or assist with all types of maintenance required by the institution—including hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, masonry, and general services—as needed, using required materials and PPE to maintain institutional facilities in full compliance; * Prepare parts, tools, and instruments necessary for maintenance of equipment, motors, furniture, electrical circuits, hydraulic systems, and other unit assets, applying technical specifications and current standards to ensure institutional facilities remain compliant; * Test operation of machines, equipment, and systems using appropriate devices and PPE to verify functionality; * Conduct risk assessments prior to executing any preventive or corrective action to ensure safety and prevent accidents; * Report all irregularities identified to immediate supervisor to facilitate appropriate corrective actions and maintain facility compliance; * Monitor all maintenance and service activities that may compromise the institution’s building facilities, verifying installation and service procedures to prevent damage; * Signal material procurement needs to ensure timely delivery of requested services and meet operational demands; * Prepare technical reports on maintenance activities performed, recording data via checklists and work orders to build equipment history logs; * Select reusable materials applying 5S principles to maintain organizational order within the department and institution. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed High School education; . Completed education in electronics, electrotechnology, or related field; . Minimum 6 months of experience related to the duties described, or specific training for this role; * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings; * Familiarity with measuring instruments such as tape measures, multimeters, voltmeters, etc.; * Knowledge of technical standards and occupational safety procedures; . Industrial and/or commercial electrical systems; * Time planning and management; * Discipline; * Organization; * Teamwork; * Ability to work under pressure; .
