Direct impact on digital product development **About the Team:** The Design Ops team is part of the UX structure and plays a strategic role in operational efficiency, scalability, and design governance at BTG Pactual. It is responsible for evolving the Design System—a highly mature multibrand system built and refined over years to serve diverse products and brands not only within the bank but across the entire BTG Group. We ensure standardization, scalability, and quality in digital product development, working closely with technology and product teams. This is a high-impact area for product development—ideal for those who enjoy designing structural, sustainable, and long-term solutions. **Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:** * Define architecture and develop native Android solutions focused on the Design System, user experience (UX), reusability, and scalability using Kotlin, XML, and Jetpack Compose, following mobile software architecture best practices; * Participate in the conception, implementation, and evolution of reusable component libraries (custom views), ensuring visual consistency, accessibility, responsiveness, backward compatibility, and low coupling with consuming applications; * Translate UX/UI prototypes, specifications, and guidelines into functional Android interfaces, adjusting layouts, interactions, animations, and behaviors to deliver a fluid, intuitive experience aligned with BTG’s visual identity; * Collaborate closely with design, product, and other technology teams to understand business needs and jointly validate technical and visual implementations; * Participate in the full development lifecycle of Android components and solutions—from module architecture through testing, maintenance, continuous improvement, performance, accessibility, and adoption across multiple teams; * Ensure technical and functional quality of solutions, handling advanced interaction scenarios (keyboard, focus, touch events, fragments, ViewPager), themes, styles, attributes (attr), and branding-based colorimetry. **What We Expect From You:** * Completed undergraduate degree, preferably in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields; * Solid experience in native Android development using Kotlin, XML, and Jetpack Compose; * Experience implementing and maintaining mobile Design Systems, with emphasis on UX and visual consistency; * Advanced knowledge of custom views, styles, themes, attributes, Material Design guidelines, and internal standards; * Experience with Android architecture (e.g., MVVM, Jetpack, lifecycle management, ViewBinding); * Experience with modularized projects, separating applications from reusable libraries; * Ability to translate business and design requirements into scalable, reusable, and well-defined technical solutions; * Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset when working with designers, product owners, and other engineering teams; * Availability to work in a hybrid model at the Faria Lima office (SP). **Benefits:** * Profit and Results Sharing (PLR); * Meal and Food Allowance; * Health Insurance; * Dental Insurance; * Childcare/Babysitter Allowance; * Transportation Voucher; * WellHub; * TotalPass; * Employee Assistance Program (EAP); * Optional Plans such as Private Pension and Life Insurance; * Pharmacy Discount; * Nutrition Program; * Pregnancy Program; * Extended Maternity and Paternity Leave – Certified Citizen Company.
