Design and maintain robust, auditable data pipelines **About the Role** ================ We are looking for a professional to lead the Data Engineering Chapter of Media Hero technically, ensuring the quality, reliability, and scalability of the data infrastructure supporting the company's products and analytics. Act as a technical reference, contributing to the evolution of the data architecture, team development, and continuous improvement of data ingestion, transformation, and delivery pipelines and processes. **Responsibilities** ===================== * Lead the data engineering chapter, promoting best practices, technical standards, and a culture of excellence. * Participate in designing and evolving the company's data architecture with a focus on modularity, traceability, and performance. * Design, develop, and maintain robust, auditable pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and exposure. * Support product, operations, and machine learning squads in efficiently utilizing the data stack. * Ensure data quality, versioning, and governance. * Mentor junior engineers and serve as a technical reference. * Participate in strategic decisions related to data and infrastructure. * Identify bottlenecks and optimization opportunities in the data platform. **Requirements** ============== * Proficiency in Python and SQL * Experience with GCP (BigQuery, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage) * Pipeline orchestration tools (Airflow, Prefect, Dagster, etc.) * Data transformation tools (dbt) * Data integration via APIs, files, webhooks, etc. * Version control practices (Git), CI/CD, and observability * Scalable data architecture and auditable pipelines * Preferred: knowledge of machine learning and analytics **What We Offer** ==================== * Health insurance plan * Wellhub * Hybrid or remote work \- Office in São Paulo \- SP.
