Senior QA Developer

Job Summary: A QA professional with experience in manual and automated testing, focused on promoting a quality culture and ensuring reliable deliveries in agile environments. Key Highlights: 1. Promote a quality culture within the Squad. 2. Plan and execute functional, regression, integration, and performance tests. 3. Collaborate with developers and stakeholders on requirements. Description: It is highly important that you have and/or know: * Experience in REST and SOAP API testing. * Practical experience in manual functional testing (regression, integration, smoke, etc.). * Knowledge of test case design, test planning, and defect reporting. * Familiarity with bug and task management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure). * Practice of BDD to write test scenarios aligned with business requirements. * Knowledge of API testing (e.g., Postman, RestAssured). * Familiarity with CI/CD (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps). * Knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban). * Experience with version control (Git) and agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban). * Experience with test automation (RobotFramework, Cypress, Postman/Newman). Challenges of the Role: * Promote a quality culture within the Squad by working side-by-side with developers to demonstrate the benefits of well-applied quality practices—such as reduced rework, more reliable deliveries, and happier users. * Plan and execute functional, regression, integration, and performance tests. * Validate API integrations, including authentication, data exchange, and error handling. * Automate regression tests. * Create, maintain, and organize test scenarios and evidence. * Identify, report, and track bugs to resolution. * Ensure requirement traceability and test coverage. * Ensure tests cover key business workflows. * Document test evidence and generate quality reports for involved teams. * Act as a bridge between technical and business areas, translating requirements into effective tests. * Review and support the PO in writing BDDs, thereby improving developers' understanding of the work to be performed. * Collaborate with developers, PMs, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria. * Contribute to defining test strategies and suggest continuous improvements to the QA process. * Actively participate in agile ceremonies. * Identify risks and propose improvements to development and continuous delivery processes. * Support (or begin implementing) the creation and maintenance of test automation scripts (API or FRONT). * Monitor quality metrics and generate reports for stakeholders. 2511130202461865636
