The **Engineering** team needs someone — and we want you on board! **Your mission?** Lead the development of new features and improvements across our mobile applications, ensuring Skeelo remains innovative, efficient, and maintains the quality our users love. If challenges and technology drive you, join us to make history! **Your day-to-day at Skeelo will look like this:** * Strong expertise in Jetpack Compose, Koin, project architecture, and ability to work with legacy code — with emphasis on continuous modernization and observability (logs/debug). * Work in a high-pressure environment with tight deadlines, requiring high performance, intelligent use of AI, and mastery of technologies and integrations. * Excellent communication and collaborative attitude: active presence during working hours, quick responses on Slack, participation in meetings, and contributions of opinions and improvements. * Integration into the Activation squad, collaborating closely with iOS, Android, backend, full-stack, and QA engineers. * 90-day expectations: onboarding via pair programming, autonomy in deliveries, understanding of business rules, adherence to standards/best practices, and support for junior developers through pull request reviews. **What you’ll need:** * Proficiency in Kotlin and solid experience with Android SDK, including responsive UI development using XML and/or Jetpack Compose, and support for diverse devices and screen sizes. * Experience with architectural patterns such as MVVM, MVI, and/or Clean Architecture, plus usage of Jetpack Components (ViewModel, LiveData, Navigation, etc.). * Practical experience with concurrency and reactive programming using Kotlin Coroutines and/or RxJava, and dependency injection with Koin and/or Dagger Hilt. * Experience with data persistence (Room Database, SQLite), caching strategies, and integration with RESTful APIs (JSON) using libraries such as Retrofit, OkHttp, or Volley. * Hands-on experience integrating third-party SDKs and services (e.g., Firebase, Google Maps, Analytics), and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Bitrise. **Nice-to-have qualifications:** * Experience with Android Auto. * Experience in projects incorporating JavaScript within the app. * Knowledge of Android Wear development. **And the benefits?
