Senior Data Engineer

Description

We are looking for a **Senior Data Engineer** to work on strategic data projects, contributing from understanding business needs to implementing scalable and robust solutions. **Responsibilities and duties** * Translate business requirements into data engineering problems and solutions. * Develop and implement scalable and resilient data pipelines. * Build and maintain data ingestion, transformation, and delivery processes. * Contribute to the quality, performance, and governance of implemented solutions. * Apply the data engineering standards and architectures defined by the team. * Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support data-driven initiatives. * Perform troubleshooting and optimization of data processes and environments. **Requirements and qualifications** * Proven experience in Data Engineering. * Python for building, automating, and maintaining data pipelines. * PySpark for distributed data processing. * Experience with Apache Airflow for pipeline orchestration. * Knowledge of Amazon EMR. * Experience with Kubernetes-based environments. * Knowledge of Apache Kafka for data processing and integration. * Proficiency in SQL. * Software Engineering knowledge, including best development practices, version control, and Clean Code. * Experience with AWS cloud environments. **Desirable:** * Experience in designing and implementing enterprise data solutions. * Knowledge of Data Lake, Data Warehouse, and modern data architectures. * Experience with CI/CD applied to data projects. * Experience with observability and monitoring of data pipelines. **Additional information** * Competitive compensation based on experience; * Opportunities for career growth within the company and participation in strategic projects; * Dynamic and challenging work environment; * Opportunity to work for a rapidly expanding company in the market.
