Pagaleve is a company in the **"Buy Now Pay Later**" sector — an innovative fintech startup and one of the first companies to offer interest-free installment payments via PIX, without requiring a credit card. Our goal is to provide merchants with a new payment method to increase their sales in a simple, straightforward, and agile way; at the same time, we aim to empower people to purchase what they desire without being burdened by high credit card interest rates. **Responsibilities and Duties** **What You’ll Do:** * Design, develop, and maintain critical business microservices — from payment and billing flows to merchant onboarding and anti-fraud systems. * Work with **serverless and event-driven architecture**: AWS Lambda, SQS, SNS, Step Functions, DynamoDB Streams. * Collaborate with product, data, and security teams in an agile environment. * Actively participate in code reviews, design documentation, and product initiatives. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Mandatory Requirements:** * Solid backend experience (5+ years) with **TypeScript**. * Proficiency in **NestJS** (or equivalent — Express/Fastify), with proven experience in large-scale projects. * Experience with **AWS**: Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS/SNS, S3, Secrets Manager, API Gateway. * Experience with **serverless and event-driven architectures** (asynchronous messaging, idempotency, retry/DLQ). **Nice-to-Have (Non-Disqualifying):** * Experience with **Rust**. * Knowledge of **GraphQL**. * Familiarity with **Step Functions** for orchestrating complex workflows. * Experience in fintechs, payments, credit, or collections. * Hands-on experience with IaC: **Terraform** or **Serverless Framework**. **Additional Information** **Additional Information:** * PJ (Individual Entrepreneur) contract model; * Competitive compensation; * For your well-being and that of your family, we offer health insurance covering 100% of the primary insured and 75% for the first dependent; * iFood Benefits; * Birthday Day Off; * Group Life Insurance; * Discount coupons for our partner stores; * Fully remote work model.
