We have offices in São Paulo and Chicago (USA), but our work model is fully remote—we prefer to call it *anywhere office*. **WHAT WILL THIS PROFESSIONAL DO?** * Develop and maintain applications using **Ruby on Rails** * Work on **maintenance and evolution of existing systems** * Implement improvements and fixes based on requirements refined by the Level 1 team * Develop and sustain **REST APIs** for integration with partners and external services * Work on **payment gateway integrations** and financial workflows * Identify, analyze, and fix **production bugs** * Write and maintain **automated tests** (**RSpec** or similar) * Ensure delivery quality through **sound development practices** * Participate in **code reviews** and collaborate with the technical team * Work in an agile environment using **Scrum/Kanban**. **WHAT IS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION?** * Experience with **Ruby on Rails** in **production applications** * **Git version control** * Experience with **automated testing** (**RSpec** or similar) * Solid understanding of **Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)** * Application of **best coding practices** (**SOLID**, **Design Patterns**) * **Basic software architecture knowledge** * Experience with **maintenance and evolution of existing systems** * Experience with **agile methodologies** (**Scrum/Kanban**). **WHAT WOULD BE A PLUS?** * Experience with **REST APIs** * Knowledge of **JavaScript** * Experience in **software houses** or **consulting firms** * Intermediate and/or advanced **English**. **PROCESS STEPS:** * Application * Cultural fit interview * Technical challenge * Technical interview \+ Live coding * Client interview * Hiring
