We respect diversity and believe that diverse teams contribute to generating more innovative ideas. **Responsibilities and Duties** **Help us design the solution!** If you’ve made it this far and are someone who enjoys development work, thrives on challenges, implements solutions based on industry best practices, and values working in teams that respect who you are and your opinions, you are VERY CLOSE to joining our DB team. **Responsibilities** * Serve as an Automation QA Engineer within the Payment Methods vertical, with a focus on the Pix product. * Develop and maintain test automation for Web, Mobile, and API applications. * Define and evolve testing strategies to ensure greater coverage, efficiency, and delivery quality. * Support developers, QAs, and QA Leads in disseminating best practices in Quality Engineering. * Identify opportunities for improvement in processes, tools, frameworks, and test workflows. * Participate in defining and monitoring quality metrics and indicators. * Contribute to defining test architecture for complex solutions and integrations. * Collaborate closely with Product, Architecture, and Engineering teams to foster a quality-first culture from the outset of development (Shift Left and DevSecOps). * Evaluate and propose new tools, technologies, and practices aimed at enhancing software quality. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Requirements to apply for this position:** * Experience in test automation using **Python**. * Practical experience with **BDD (Behave)**. * Experience in Web automation (**Selenium**) and Mobile automation (**Appium**). * API testing using **Requests**, and tools such as **Postman** or **Insomnia**. * Knowledge of relational databases (**SQL**) and NoSQL databases (**MongoDB**). * Experience with messaging systems (**Kafka**). * Experience with **Git**, **Azure DevOps (Pipelines)**, and **Azure Test Plans**. * Knowledge of **Java 8\+**. * Experience with **Kobiton (Device Farm)**. **Additional Information** **Here’s what you’ll get with us:** * Market-competitive remuneration; * Meal allowance; * Transportation allowance (not applicable during pandemic period, as we are working remotely); * Health and dental insurance; * Remote-work subsidy; * Life insurance; * Flexible working hours; * Dress code: be yourself; * TotalPass: care for your physical and mental health. **About DB** We are a custom software development house.
