The **Platform Engineer** team at **Asaas** is looking for someone experienced in building internal platforms and tools that increase the productivity and autonomy of development (Cloud and Engineering) teams. We seek someone who views **Platform Engineering as a product**, treating our developers as internal customers. You will build and evolve robust platforms and self\-service tools, ensuring an exceptional experience for developers and being able to **measure the real impact** of your solutions in accelerating deliveries across our entire engineering team. This opportunity is open for **remote/home office work.** **Responsibilities and Duties** * **Lead macro initiatives** (e.g., IDP, new CI/CD pipelines), from conception and technology selection through implementation, documentation, and, most importantly, **measuring success**; * **Develop internal tools and frameworks** focused on **Developer Experience (DX)** and self\-service, treating the platform as a product; * **Define and track productivity KPIs** (e.g., DORA Metrics or reduced Lead Time) to demonstrate the **real business impact** of platform deliveries; * Design, build, and evolve internal platforms that increase the **productivity and autonomy** of **development and Cloud teams**; * Actively collaborate with product and engineering teams, understanding their real needs through feedback and proposing solutions that deliver **direct impact on daily operations**; * Build **abstractions and interfaces** that simplify infrastructure resource usage; * Conduct code reviews and **contribute technically to platform and product architecture**; * **Automate processes and workflows**, eliminating manual tasks and operational toil; * Promote and disseminate **Platform Engineering culture**, aiming for continuous improvement of developer experience; * Implement and evolve observability practices, ensuring full visibility into applications and platform; * Monitor platform capacity and performance, identifying optimization opportunities; * Ensure solutions are scalable, resilient, secure, and cost-optimized. **Requirements and Qualifications** * **Experience with Internal Developer Platforms (IDP):** Practical experience implementing developer portals and service catalogs; * **Programming Experience:** Proficiency in development languages (**Python, Go, Node.js, or Java**) with full focus on **building internal tools and automations**; * **Metrics and Impact:** Knowledge of **engineering productivity metrics** (DORA metrics, Lead Time, etc.) and ability to quantify **efficiency gains** and time savings generated by platform solutions; * **Expertise in Cloud Computing (AWS)** and **Serverless architectures** (Lambda, Fargate); * **Advanced Infrastructure as Code (IaC):** Mastery of **AWS CDK** or **Terraform** in large-scale scenarios; * **Deep CI/CD Knowledge:** Ability to design and maintain continuous delivery pipelines (CodePipeline, GitHub Actions, Jenkins); * **Containers and Orchestration:** Mastery of **Kubernetes (EKS)** and/or ECS; * **Monitoring and Observability:** Experience with tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, New Relic, CloudWatch; * **Linux Systems Experience** (Ubuntu), its tools, and **scripts** (Shell script, Bash); * **Experience with relational databases:** Administration and optimization of databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL. **Additional Information** **Differentiators** * Experience building Internal Developer Platforms (IDP) or self\-service platforms; * Knowledge of Service Mesh (Istio, Linkerd) and API Gateways; * Experience with GitOps (ArgoCD, Flux); * Knowledge of NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB); * Experience identifying and mitigating security vulnerabilities (DevSecOps); * In-depth knowledge of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, Load Balancing); * Experience configuring and optimizing web servers (Apache, Nginx, Tomcat); * Proficiency with Git, GitHub, and workflows such as GitFlow; * Practical experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban); * Experience creating technical documentation and runbooks; **Work Model** * Flexible schedule of 8 hours per day (Monday to Friday); * CLT employment contract. **We are a Fintech**, a Payment Institution accredited by the Central Bank of Brazil, and **our purpose is to maximize business productivity through technology.** We offer a complete solution for billing management, payments, receivables anticipation, and serve over 200,000 customers—including freelancers, micro-entrepreneurs (MEI), and large enterprises.
