Job Summary: The Mid-level Back-end Developer will develop and maintain critical APIs and integrations, ensuring scalability, security, and performance in systems supporting nationwide operations. Key Highlights: 1. Develop and maintain REST APIs in Python (FastAPI/Django) 2. Work with serverless architecture and microservices on AWS 3. Ensure code quality through automated testing **Description** The Mid\-level Back\-end Developer will play an essential role in sustaining and evolving Seguralta's core services. Priority will be placed on developing and maintaining critical APIs and integrations with insurance companies, ensuring scalability, security, and performance in systems supporting Seguralta's nationwide network operations. **Responsibilities and Duties** Participate in the full development lifecycle: conception, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance Design and evolve REST APIs in Python (FastAPI/Django) Implement and monitor integrations with third-party systems (insurance company portals, CRMs) Ensure code quality through automated testing (unit, integration, E2E) Work with serverless architecture and microservices on AWS Support architectural discussions and best practices alongside the Tech Lead and other developers Monitor and optimize production services, responding to incidents as needed **Requirements and Qualifications** Solid back\-end experience, preferably with Python Experience developing and maintaining scalable and secure APIs Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases Practical experience with AWS (Lambda, S3, RDS, API Gateway, SNS, SQS) Proficiency in automated testing best practices and version control with Git Analytical ability to resolve complex production issues Collaborative mindset and results-oriented approach
