Job Summary: This role involves validating backup routines, documenting policies, supporting environment transitions, analyzing filesystems, and contributing to internal projects with a focus on attention to detail and logical reasoning. Description: Technical Requirements * Operating Systems: Linux (CentOS, Oracle Linux, Ubuntu) and Windows Server (basic services, permissions, and connectivity). * Networking: fundamentals of IP, DNS, NAT, gateway, and sharing protocols (NFS/SMB). * Remote Access: SSH, RDP, AnyDesk. * Tools: Checkmk (monitoring), Movidesk (Service Desk), Owncloud, Bitwarden. * Scripts: basic reading and adjustments in Shell Script. Soft Skills * Required: attention to detail, procedural discipline, logical reasoning, clear communication, responsibility, and self-management. * Desired: ability to propose automation and improvements for repetitive processes, aligned with the NOC's DevOps culture. Differentiators * Prior experience with backup tools (RMAN, rsync, expdp, snapshots). * Experience in structured technical documentation. Knowledge of ITIL or best practices in governance. Main Responsibilities * Validate whether implemented backup routines comply with the contractual backup policy (retention, integrity, redundant copies, storage, and availability). * Document the backup policy and validated environment comprehensively and consistently, ensuring traceability and versioning. * Monitor backup executions delivered by DBA or Infrastructure teams, verifying that files are correctly stored in all specified directories/volumes. * Support the transition from implementation environment to operational support, ensuring deliverables are organized, documented, and compliant with standards. * Perform filesystem analyses to identify risks related to disk usage or recurring failures, escalating as necessary. * Support technical execution in planned maintenance tickets (downtime) and contract cancellation workflows. * Contribute to internal projects by proposing workflow improvements and supporting NOC standardization. * Document all activities and ensure clear evidence records in tickets and internal systems. * Escalate failures or inconsistencies to DBA, Infrastructure, or Coordination teams, always providing technical context and evidence. Role Boundaries * Does not execute logical or physical backups on databases or VMs — responsibility of DBA or Infrastructure. * Does not create or modify new backup scripts — responsibility of Projects/N3/N4. * Does not modify critical configurations of databases, virtualization, or applications. * Does not define backup policies — only validates and documents whether they have been correctly applied. 2511210202471761961
