Job Summary: Data Engineering professional to design, implement, and optimize data platforms on Google Cloud Platform. Key Highlights: 1. Design and implement data platform on GCP 2. Work in agile environments with the latest technologies . **Responsibilities and Duties** * Design, define, and implement the data platform on Google Cloud Platform (GCP); * Create, evolve, and optimize cloud-based data warehouses using BigQuery; * Design and implement scalable, high-performance data architectures; * Develop batch and streaming data processing pipelines; * Orchestrate data flows and integrations using Apache Airflow; * Manage structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data, ensuring quality, security, and governance; * Implement integrations with APIs and Business Intelligence (BI) tools; * Define best practices for data modeling, standardization, and data governance; * Collaborate with technical teams and business units to define data-driven solutions; * Ensure operational efficiency, reliability, and scalability of the data platform. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Proven experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including deep expertise in BigQuery and the cloud data ecosystem; * Experience with data orchestration using Apache Airflow; * Proficiency in SQL and Python; * Experience processing and analyzing large volumes of data using Apache Spark; * Knowledge of consuming and integrating data via APIs; * Experience with Business Intelligence tools and concepts; * Knowledge of data architecture, modeling, and data engineering best practices; * Experience in agile collaboration environments using Scrum, Kanban, and tools such as Azure DevOps. **Additional Information** Compass UOL is a global firm and part of the AI Revolution Company, together transforming organizations using Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, and other of today’s most advanced technologies.
