If you identify with this role, come join our team! **WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?** We seek a **Data Engineer**, at the **Senior** career level, who wants to work with us in a relaxed and dynamic environment featuring continuous learning while developing large-scale projects alongside major national and international clients. We have offices in Maringá, São Paulo, and Chicago (USA). **ATTENTION!** **This is a hybrid position requiring 2 days per week onsite in the Campos Elíseos neighborhood, São Paulo/SP.** **WHAT WILL THIS PROFESSIONAL DO?** * Design, build, and maintain **robust data pipelines (ETL/ELT)**, from raw source ingestion through to consumption layers, using the **medallion architecture (bronze, silver, gold)**. * Develop and maintain **analytical models and data structures** supporting analytics initiatives and decision-making. * Implement and promote **best practices in data engineering**, including version control, testing, monitoring, and performance optimization. * Create **validations, automated tests, and error-handling mechanisms** to ensure data quality and reliability. * Ensure **scalability, resilience, security, and performance** of the data platform. * Develop **data ingestion and transformation processes in cloud environments (GCP)**. * Document business rules, data flows, and transformation logic. **WHAT IS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION?** * Experience with **BigQuery and DBT**. * Proven experience as a **Data Engineer in large-scale environments**. * Advanced proficiency in **SQL (DDL, DML, optimization, and complex structures)**. * Strong knowledge of **Python for data engineering and data manipulation**. * Experience with **Apache Airflow or other orchestration tools**. * Solid understanding of **data architecture and cloud platforms (GCP or AWS)**. * Experience with **Git and CI/CD practices applied to data projects**. * Ability to implement solutions for **data observability, quality, and resilience**. * Experience with **data ingestion pipelines and analytical environments (analytics).** **WHAT WOULD BE A PLUS?** * Intermediate/advanced English. * Experience with other orchestration or workflow tools. * Cloud certifications (AWS, GCP, or Azure). * Knowledge of **DataOps** and advanced data monitoring practices. * Experience with distributed processing (Spark, Databricks, Hadoop). **HIRING PROCESS STEPS:** * Application submission * Cultural fit interview * Technical interview * Client interview * Hiring * ***Note: It is essential to ensure there are no conflicts of interest or affiliations that could compromise confidentiality or impartiality.
