Description: Senior Node.js Developer | São Paulo, SP At W1, we are seeking a Senior Node.js Developer to act as a technical reference within the team, leading the development of scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions. This professional will play a strategic role in defining architecture, coding practices, and technological evolution of projects, as well as supporting the team’s technical growth. Main Responsibilities * Lead software development, applying best coding practices with emphasis on security, scalability, performance, and cost-efficiency. * Propose, design, and document new features and complex applications. * Support the team in breaking down technical problems and planning high-complexity tasks. * Define strategies for system upgrades and modernization, promoting adoption of new technologies. * Lead migration and refactoring plans for legacy systems. * Mentor junior and mid-level developers, encouraging continuous learning. * Participate in defining software architecture and technological decisions. Requirements * Proven experience with Node.js in complex web projects. * Strong background in automated testing (unit, integration, and end-to-end). * Proficiency in Git (branching strategies, merging, and conflict resolution). * Advanced knowledge of design patterns and architectural principles. * Experience with relational and non-relational databases, including query optimization and data modeling. * Technical leadership skills, fostering collaboration and high team performance. Nice-to-Haves * Knowledge of React for frontend. * Experience with complex API integrations and robust API design. * Experience in technical leadership within agile teams (Scrum, Kanban). * English proficiency for communication with stakeholders. * Experience in the fintech industry. * Familiarity with Docker, AWS, and observability tools (logs, metrics, traces). * Experience with caching, queues, and messaging systems.
