Job Summary: We are looking for a professional to drive the evolution of our data infrastructure and governance, with a focus on operational efficiency, modernization, and implementation of Data Contracts for strategic data. Collaboration with Data Science and Analytics Engineers How the **DATA** team builds Loft The Data team has two central missions: ensuring Loft makes the best decisions and leveraging AI/Machine Learning to its fullest potential. We are responsible for building tools and technologies that enable the entire company to perform analyses efficiently, scalably, and securely. We seek a person to drive the evolution of our infrastructure and governance, focusing on **operational efficiency (FinOps)**, modernization via **Kubernetes (GKE)**, and implementation of **Data Contracts**, ensuring our data becomes a strategic, well-documented, and sustainable asset. **Challenges you will face:** * Operate and evolve data pipelines using the Google Cloud Platform (**GCP**) ecosystem; * Manage and deploy data workloads on **GKE (Google Kubernetes Engine)** clusters using **Helm** for packaging; * Implement and maintain **Data Contracts** to ensure quality and stability of integration between Software Engineering and Data; * Organize and maintain the **Data Catalog**, ensuring technical documentation and data lineage are always up to date; * Execute **FinOps** initiatives to identify waste and reduce cloud infrastructure costs; * Orchestrate data flows with Cloud Composer (Airflow) and support standardization of CI/CD for data; * Collaborate with Data Science and Analytics Engineers to provide infrastructure supporting ML models and complex analytics. **What you need to unlock this role?** * Hands-on experience with data services on **GCP** (BigQuery, Cloud Composer/Airflow, GCS); * Knowledge of **Kubernetes (GKE)** and chart management with **Helm**; * Familiarity with **Data Contracts** (data interface contracts) and **Data Catalog** tools (e.g., DataHub, Amundsen, or Google Dataplex); * Experience with Infrastructure as Code (**Terraform**) applied to data environments; * Proficiency in **Python** and **SQL** for building and optimizing pipelines; * **Clear and proactive communication**: ability to collaborate with various stakeholders to define data standards; * Mindset oriented toward operational efficiency, technical organization, and documentation. **Additional Information** Caju \- Greater flexibility to use your benefits (Meal, Food, Mobility, Health, Remote Work, Culture, and Education); Health Insurance Dental Insurance Life Insurance ️WellHub \- Access to gyms across Brazil Wellz\- Mental Health Platform ️Flexible Vacation \- Take vacation whenever you want Day Off Parental Leave \- for parents Guapeco \- Pet Health Plan with discount ️Work \- Remote
