Fiscal Coordinator

Description

In the Fiscal Coordination role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate calculation of indirect taxes, timely fulfillment of ancillary obligations, and creation of performance indicators for monitoring the fiscal area. You will also play a key role in reviewing and managing the current service provider. Additionally, the position's primary challenge will be the internalization of fiscal activities, including team structuring and development, as well as reviewing and implementing processes and systems to support operations with greater control, efficiency, and information quality, and leading the tax reform project. **Responsibilities and duties** Responsible for ensuring the accurate calculation of indirect taxes, with focus on ICMS and ICMS\-ST, ensuring compliance with current legislation and the quality of reported information; Ensure timely fulfillment of ancillary obligations and tax payments, monitoring deadlines and mitigating fiscal risks; Ensure systematic and registry updates of tax rules, including configuration of tax rates and applicable tax treatments for the business; Structure, monitor, and enhance fiscal area performance indicators, focusing on control, efficiency, and information quality; Critically review the service provider’s processes and deliverables, ensuring technical adherence, compliance, and opportunities for improvement; Lead the internalization process of fiscal activities, including building and developing the internal team; Participate in the review, implementation, and stabilization of fiscal processes and systems, ensuring greater automation, control, and data reliability; Work closely with business units, accounting, and technology teams to ensure alignment and consistency of fiscal information. **Requirements and qualifications** Solid experience in calculating indirect taxes, especially ICMS and ICMS\-ST, preferably in retail companies or those with high operational complexity; Experience with ancillary obligations (SPED Fiscal, GIA, EFD Contributions, among others) and oversight audits; Experience managing service providers or shared service centers; Participation in projects implementing or improving fiscal systems and ERP solutions; Experience in transformation, restructuring, or internalization of fiscal operations will be considered a differentiator; Analytical profile with strong sense of responsibility, ability to build and operate effectively in dynamic environments. **Additional information** Benefits: * Transportation allowance or on-site parking; * Meal voucher; * Medical assistance; * Dental assistance; * Life insurance; * Daycare or caregiver allowance; * Credit cooperative – Barracred; * Discount club – Allya; * Private pension plan; * Gym membership – Gympass; * Hybrid work model \- in-person and remote.
