If you enjoy challenges and identify with us, apply now! **Responsibilities and Duties** The main activities and challenges for this role will be: * SQL Server Database Administration; * Query Refactoring aimed at general performance improvement (Tuning); * Development of Queries (T-SQL); * Continuous improvement of Database Processes such as Triggers, Jobs, and Functions; and * Orchestration of processes and handling of Integrated Data. **Requirements and Qualifications** **The main requirements, knowledge, and skills expected from the professional are:** * Interpersonal Skills; * Analytical mindset and ability to interpret results; * Completed Bachelor's degree; * Microsoft Office Suite; * Knowledge of Always-On; * Proficiency in applying indexes; * Understanding of data purging and shrink operations; * Knowledge of SQL backup plans; * Knowledge of data restoration; * Best practices for writing T-SQL code; * Best practices for database disaster recovery and failover; * Knowledge of database load balancing and replication; and * Experience with on-premises and cloud servers. **Behavioral Competencies:** * Autonomy: capable of performing tasks without constant supervision; * Collaboration: works well within a team, supporting team development; and * Adaptability: able to learn new technologies and adapt to project or workplace changes. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience in retail and financial markets * SQL programming language; * Big Data knowledge; * DataFactory knowledge; * Python knowledge for automation and ETL processes; * Knowledge of consolidated data processes (BI, Datamart, Data Warehouse, etc); and * Microsoft certification. **Additional Information*** Employment model: Individual Contractor (PJ); * Work model: Hybrid (1 day per week onsite at Jd.
