Join our team and become part of Brazil’s energy transition journey! **Responsibilities and Duties** **We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist responsible for:** ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- * Developing, training, and validating predictive and machine learning models applied to company solutions; * Participating in building modern AI architectures, including the use of LLMs, RAG, and ML pipelines; * Collaborating on the creation of data products and intelligent services to support corporate workflows; * Developing APIs and services in Python (FastAPI) to deploy models and data capabilities; * Building and maintaining efficient data pipelines using Python, SQL, and Spark/PySpark; * Working with modern data formats (Parquet, Delta, Iceberg) and layered architecture designs; * Implementing MLOps best practices, including versioning, testing, and model monitoring; * Using tools such as MLflow, Airflow, or Prefect for automation and traceability; * Conducting statistical analyses, hypothesis testing, and insight extraction to support business decisions; * Adhering to governance standards and clearly documenting models, data, and workflows; * Contributing to code reviews and technical discussions within the team; * Staying current with AI trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve work. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree completed in Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Information Systems, or related fields. * A postgraduate degree in Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Data Engineering, or related areas is desirable. * Intermediate English proficiency. * Experience with Python (pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, statsmodels, pydantic, FastAPI) and SQL. * Hands-on experience with distributed pipelines (Spark/PySpark) and structured data in modern formats. * Experience in Machine Learning, foundational Deep Learning, NLP with LLMs, and building applied solutions. * Familiarity with RAG, embeddings, and tokenization (expertise not required). * Knowledge of MLOps (Docker, MLflow, Airflow/Prefect, GitHub Actions/GitLab CI). * Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). * Familiarity with data governance and documentation best practices. **Additional Information** * **Work Location:** São Paulo – SP * **Work Model:** Hybrid **What We Offer:** * Competitive market-aligned salary. * Benefits: Meal Voucher, Transportation Voucher, Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, Culture Voucher, Wellhub, Galena, Profit Sharing (PLR), Birthday Day Off, Life Insurance, and much more... * Organizational culture focused on development, innovation, and sustainability. **Shall we transform energy to renew the world?
