Senior Data Scientist

Description

We are looking for a **Senior Data Scientist** to drive the development and evolution of advanced Analytics, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence solutions, directly contributing to business value generation through data. You will be responsible for transforming data into insights and intelligent solutions—spanning from opportunity identification to production model deployment and monitoring—bridging business challenges with scalable analytical solutions. ### **Responsibilities** * Develop and implement statistical, predictive, and machine learning models to support strategic decision-making. * Own the full data science project lifecycle—from data exploration and preparation to model deployment and monitoring. * Work with structured and unstructured data to generate insights and build high-impact solutions. * Build solutions using machine learning and artificial intelligence techniques, including generative models where applicable. * Translate business problems into analytical hypotheses and data-driven solutions. * Monitor model performance and drive continuous improvements. * Serve as a technical reference in data science initiatives, contributing to defining approaches, best practices, and analytical guidelines. * Influence business decisions through analyses, insights, and data-backed recommendations. * Collaborate with business units, engineering, architecture, and product teams to build robust and scalable solutions. * Promote best practices related to data governance, ethics, and responsible use of data and AI. * Contribute to advancing the organization’s data-driven culture and analytical maturity. ### **Required Qualifications** * Proven experience in data science, including development, deployment, and monitoring of production models. * Proficiency in Python and SQL. * Practical experience with machine learning and developing models to solve business problems. * Knowledge of predictive modeling, classification, regression, clustering, and applied statistics. * Experience with data platforms and cloud environments such as Databricks, Azure, AWS, or GCP. * Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases. * Knowledge of Generative AI, including LLMs, embeddings, prompt engineering, and integration with AI APIs. * Ability to translate business challenges into high-impact analytical solutions. * Intermediate English proficiency for reading technical documentation. * Collaborative mindset and experience working in cross-functional teams. ### **Preferred Qualifications** * Hands-on experience with Generative AI projects using RAG, agents, model evaluation, and LLM-based architectures. * Knowledge of MLOps and model governance. * Experience with time series, recommendation engines, or computer vision. * Involvement in governance, responsible AI, or establishing best practices for AI usage. * Participation in technical communities, publications, or relevant certifications. * GitHub profile or technical portfolio showcasing projects. ### **What We Offer** * High-quality work equipment to help you perform your tasks with excellence; * A birthday day off to celebrate as you wish; * Education incentives, including partnerships with higher education and language institutions; * The Growdev learning platform, featuring practical, market-aligned technology content. ### **About the Company** We are a startup driven by connections, movement, and trust.
