As a **Senior Data and Research Analyst**, you will be responsible for planning and conducting quantitative and qualitative studies, diagnostics, and analyses on Brazil's public education system. You will produce applied knowledge—transforming evidence into analyses, strategic recommendations, and communication products that support public administrators, technical teams, and institutional partners in formulating, monitoring, and improving public programs and policies. Key Responsibilities: * Plan and conduct studies and diagnostics on challenges facing public education, defining research questions, indicators, population segments, and methodological strategies. * Structure, integrate, and analyze datasets from internal sources and public educational and socioeconomic databases. * Develop indicators and analytical models to support the monitoring, evaluation, and improvement of public programs and policies. * Apply statistical techniques to investigate educational inequalities, school trajectories, learning outcomes, access, retention, and other education-related topics. * Prepare analytical reports, technical notes, executive presentations, and data visualizations—translating evidence into decision-making recommendations. * Serve as a technical reference in data and applied research projects, supporting multidisciplinary teams and ensuring methodological rigor in deliverables. * Engage in technical dialogue with public administrators, researchers, and institutional partners to present findings and support the strategic use of evidence. **Work Schedule:** Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM **Hybrid Model –** Minimum 2 days per week onsite (Pinheiros/SP) and 3 days remote. Requirements: * Master’s degree in Economics, currently pursuing or completed. * Completed undergraduate degree in Economics, Public Policy Management, Social Sciences, Engineering, or related fields. * Proficiency in data analysis tools such as R, Stata, or Python. * Experience using public educational and socioeconomic databases, including the School Census, SAEB, PNAD Contínua, and other administrative databases. * Knowledge of descriptive and inferential statistics, exploratory data analysis, and quantitative and qualitative research methodologies. * Experience in applied research, monitoring, and evaluation of public policies. * Ability to translate complex analyses into clear, strategic insights for diverse audiences.
