For more information, visit Worley.com We are looking for a **Senior Civil Designer:** **Requirements:** * Generally, as part of responsibilities, possess knowledge of technical documentation preparation through application of fundamental engineering theories, techniques, and practices. Knowledge of standards, regulations, building codes, manufacturing standards, and standard design practices relevant to control and development; * Experience in Civil Engineering within the mining sector, including multidisciplinary projects, infrastructure, geometric, pavement, signage, earthworks, and drainage design and quantity takeoff; * Preliminary and/or detailed design of drainage structures, hydraulic calculations, quantity takeoffs, sketch preparation, compilation of calculation memoranda, preparation of quantity schedules, and creation of drawings for pavement, earthworks, drainage, signage, geometric design, and 3D modeling; * English (spoken, written, and comprehension); * Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams. Ability to navigate intranet pages, conduct research, and synthesize information. Organize information from multiple sources according to prescribed formats and policies; * Familiarity with specialized design tools, analysis, modeling, and data-centric multidisciplinary development methods; * Proficiency in software such as CIVIL3D, INFRAWORKS, OPEN ROADS, etc. **Responsibilities:** * Collect data from multiple sources and prepare engineering studies, analyses, calculations, etc. Support recommendations and prepare final documentation. Identify technical issues, assist in developing alternative solutions, evaluate pros/cons of various solutions, and make recommendations via official project documents such as technical queries and technical deviations. Create final documentation incorporating all relevant information and secure client approval. May review similar documentation to assist others and review/authorize work performed by the team; * Participate in preparation of documents, drawings, spreadsheets, and support Senior Engineers and the discipline supervisor; * Address site requirements in the role of ATO (Site Technical Support).
