With minimal supervision, this role executes complex software application testing, quality assurance, configuration, installation, and support to ensure smooth, stable, and timely implementation of new software and updates to installed applications. **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS** ---------------------- * APPLICATION CONFIGURATION MANAGEMENT: Creates complex application configurations to meet user and business requirements while identifying improvements in complex application support processes and procedures. * APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT AND DEPLOYMENT: Performs advanced programming, configuration, testing, and deployment of fixes or updates to application versions. * USER COMMUNICATION AND SUPPORT: Plays a critical role and maintains an open communication channel with users to respond to complex application support requests and needs. * APPLICATION SUPPORT: Conducts complex technical application support activities to deliver business outcomes. * STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT: Partners with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business partners, to ensure configurations align with project standards and goals. * INCIDENT AND REQUEST MANAGEMENT: Prioritizes incoming incident ticket leads and user requests. * VENDOR MANAGEMENT: Maintains positive relationships with software vendors and negotiates complex contracts. * DOCUMENTATION: Builds and maintains comprehensive documentation for complex software applications, deployment processes, and system configurations. Ensures changes align with best practices and comply with Cargill’s system governance and IT standards. * TECHNICAL SUPPORT: Provides technical support and troubleshooting for complex issues in deployed applications, ensuring minimal downtime and rapid resolution. * AUDIT SUPPORT: Supports and provides necessary documentation for internal and external system audits. * AGILE APPROACH: Takes leadership on the assigned agile team to adopt agile methodologies, facilitate agile ceremonies, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. \#LI\-Hybrid \#LI\-4425 **QUALIFICATIONS** ----------------- **Minimum Qualifications** Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Experience integrating and utilizing AI models (e.g., in software solutions). Understanding of ethical considerations and best practices in AI development. Experience automating pipelines for continuous integration, testing, delivery, and security. Experience in application architecture, databases, services, or integrations. Extensive experience with JVS (JavaScript Java), OpenComponents (Java-based plugins), Python, VB6, ASP 3 and 4, PROGRESS V9, C\# and Delphi, and SQL for data manipulation and reporting. Extensive experience with .NET Framework, .NET C\#, VB.NET, and .NET Core. Experience with DevOps practices and tools such as Docker and CI/CD pipelines. Knowledge of SQL Server and/or PostgreSQL for database design and management. **Preferred Qualifications:** Experience with compliance solutions such as ADVICE. Understanding of microservices architecture and deployment strategies using Kubernetes. Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP. Experience decomposing monolithic applications into microservices.
