Tegra is looking for a Database Specialist to strategically manage, model, and optimize our databases. You will serve as the technical reference for development and data teams, ensuring data operation quality and performance. YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Design, implement, and optimize data structures in relational and NoSQL environments; Administer PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and MongoDB production instances; Develop and maintain ETL pipelines for data integration and transformation; Implement Redis-based caching strategies to reduce latency in critical applications; Perform monitoring, performance tuning, and execution plan analysis (EXPLAIN/ANALYZE); Define database backup, recovery, and high-availability policies; Support development teams with data modeling and best practices. WHAT WE LOOK FOR IN YOU **PostgreSQL expertise:** partitioning, advanced indexing, tuning, and replication; **Strong SQL Server knowledge:** stored procedures, triggers, SSIS; **MongoDB experience:** document modeling, aggregations, compound indexes; **Redis proficiency:** data structures, TTL, pub/sub, and persistence; Experience building ETL pipelines (extraction, transformation, and loading of data); Ability to diagnose and resolve database performance issues. ADDITIONAL ASSETS Database certifications (Oracle, Microsoft, MongoDB University); Experience with CDC (Change Data Capture) tools such as Debezium; Knowledge of cloud-based databases (RDS, Azure SQL, Atlas MongoDB); Familiarity with dbt (data build tool).
