Multidisciplinary collaboration to drive business impact As a **Data Scientist** at Gokhan Hayta Digital, you will be responsible for transforming large volumes of raw data into strategic insights and predictive solutions. This role requires a combination of statistical rigor, programming skills, and business acumen to develop Machine Learning models that optimize digital operations and improve decision-making for our clients in the Brazilian and international markets. **Key Responsibilities** * **Predictive Modeling:** Develop, train, and validate Machine Learning models to forecast trends, consumer behavior, and process optimization. * **Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA):** Conduct in-depth statistical analyses to identify patterns, anomalies, and correlations within complex datasets. * **Feature Engineering:** Create and transform variables to improve predictive model performance and ensure relevance of the data used. * **Data Visualization:** Build interactive dashboards and technical reports that translate complex findings into clear recommendations for non-technical stakeholders. * **Algorithm Optimization:** Refine existing models to ensure scalability, accuracy, and low latency in production environments. * **Multidisciplinary Collaboration:** Collaborate closely with Data Engineers to ensure data pipeline quality and with Digital Marketing teams to validate business hypotheses. * **Research and Innovation:** Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in AI, Natural Language Processing (NLP), and Deep Learning algorithms. **Technical Requirements** * **Programming Languages:** Advanced proficiency in **Python** or **R** (with emphasis on libraries such as Pandas, Scikit-learn, PyTorch, or TensorFlow). * **Mathematics and Statistics:** Strong foundation in linear algebra, calculus, inferential statistics, and probability distributions. * **Databases:** Fluency in **SQL** for data extraction and manipulation; experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra) is a plus. * **Cloud Computing:** Hands-on experience with cloud-based data tools, preferably **AWS** (SageMaker), **Google Cloud** (Vertex AI), or **Azure**. * **Visualization:** Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or libraries such as Plotly and Seaborn. **Qualifications and Experience** * **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related fields. A Master’s or Ph.D. is considered a competitive advantage. * **Experience:** Minimum of **3 to 5 years** in data analysis or data science roles. * **Local Context:** Familiarity with Brazilian data regulations (**LGPD – General Data Protection Law**). * **Languages:** Native or fluent Portuguese and **advanced English** (technical reading and communication with global teams are essential). **Desirable Attributes** * Intellectual curiosity and a problem-solving mindset focused on complex challenges. * Ability to communicate technical concepts simply and persuasively. * Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
