The **Analytics Engineer** plays a central role in Asaas’ data strategy, enabling data integration, organization, modeling, quality, governance, and availability across the company. This role bridges technical areas (software engineering) with business units and analysts/scientists, ensuring data is reliable, accessible, understandable, documented, and aligned with organizational needs. No problem—we support **remote work/home office**. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Build and optimize data modeling using dbt/SQL, following best practices in development and governance. * Ensure data governance, quality, documentation, scalability, and business impact; * Participate in discussions with business areas to understand rules and requirements. * Collaborate with software engineers to understand data source structure, update frequency, limitations, business context, and technical specifics. * Implement data quality tests. * Monitor and maintain pipelines to ensure availability, performance, and integrity of data within your business domain. * Translate business needs into solutions aligned with data platform tools and strategies. * Support the data team regarding understanding of the data platform and best practices. * Contribute to building Asaas’ data platform. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Proficiency in SQL; * Intermediate professional experience with dbt or similar tools; * Experience with ETL/ELT processes; * Experience with data modeling and development of scalable analytical pipelines. * Experience with code versioning using GitHub; * Experience in data ingestion, transformation, and documentation projects. * Ability to solve technical and business problems with systemic vision. * Familiarity with agile methodologies, Linux operating system, and API querying; * Basic Python knowledge; **Nice-to-Haves** * Experience with Generative AI tools. * Prior experience in fintechs, payment processors, or the financial sector. * Experience with Databricks or cloud-based data platforms. * Degree in Data Analytics/Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or related fields; **Additional Information** * 8-hour daily workload (Monday to Friday — we do not compensate Saturdays); * CLT employment contract. **We are a Fintech**, a Payment Institution accredited by the Central Bank of Brazil, and **our purpose is to maximize business productivity through technology.** We offer a comprehensive solution for billing, payments, receivables advance, and serve over 200,000 customers—including freelancers, micro-entrepreneurs (MEI), and large enterprises.
