**Why join Elgin:** * We are a Proudly Brazilian company; * Opportunity to positively impact people's lives; * Space and autonomy for you to build a legacy; * An incredible team composed of passionate professionals who are references in their respective fields; * Opportunity to work on diverse products and projects, using different technologies and methodologies — all in one place. ***So ...*** ***\#JoinElgin*** ***\#MoreThanYouImagine*** **Want to learn more about our way of being?** **Visit our website: www.elgin.com.br** **Responsibilities and duties** * Manage the import operational flow (maritime, air, and road), performing daily follow-up monitoring with suppliers and service providers. * Conduct technical analysis and verification of customs clearance documents (Invoice, Packing List, AWBs, BLs), ensuring compliance with fiscal and operational requirements. * Support the definition and validation of fiscal classification (NCM) and product descriptions, consulting senior or legal teams in cases of higher complexity. * Coordinate shipment windows with freight agents and monitor customs clearance processes with customs brokers. * Monitor and control logistics costs (freight, port fees, warehousing) and demurrage costs, promptly flagging deviations to the immediate manager. * Populate and maintain the ERP system and control spreadsheets, ensuring data integrity for management reporting. * Prepare operational KPI reports (lead time, cost per process, incidence of parameterization channels). * Identify opportunities to improve internal processes to reduce rework and optimize cargo release timelines. * Address routine operational issues, such as cargo delays or minor document discrepancies. **Requirements and qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, International Relations, Business Administration, or Logistics. * Intermediate English (technical reading ability and email communication with agents/suppliers). * Proficiency in Excel (intermediate level for data analysis) and experience with ERP systems (SAP). * Knowledge: Solid understanding of Incoterms, common customs regimes, and basic import taxation. * Microsoft Office Suite; Outlook; SAP preferred; Ecomex and/or OSGT also desirable. * Organization and methodology: Ability to manage multiple concurrent processes without compromising verification quality. * Sense of urgency: Skill in prioritizing critical shipments and responding swiftly to logistical contingencies. * Assertive communication: Ability to effectively enforce deadlines with suppliers and keep internal areas (Procurement/PCP) informed. * Analytical mindset: Focus on identifying root causes of delays or additional costs to prevent recurrence. **Additional information** Why work at Elgin?
