**Responsibilities and Duties** * Analyze risks associated with new projects and clients for the company in coordination with the commercial department. * Ensure compliance with security regulations applicable to road freight transportation, including endorsements, policy registrations, DDRs (Right to Waiver of Recourse), and PGRs (Risk Management Plans). * Continuously develop and revise operational standards for the department. * Develop PGRs (Risk Management Plans) in accordance with the company’s own insurance policies and those of its clients. * Conduct audits and investigations to verify compliance with PGR requirements by the operations, commercial, and risk management departments. * Perform benchmarking, identify, and implement technological or process improvements within the scope of responsibility. * Develop training materials for the operations and commercial teams regarding the insurer’s PGR requirements. * Provide corporate support to the Risk Management Coordinator in diagnosing specific development needs within the area of responsibility. * Collaborate with external risk management firms to identify opportunities and improvements in systems and processes. * Control and record departmental expenditures and verify supplier invoices. * Create and monitor performance indicators and results to achieve departmental KPIs and SLAs. * Define a risk-level matrix for transported products. * Assess and investigate causes of claims and propose process improvements. * Analyze and provide opinions on DDRs (Right to Waiver of Recourse). * Request exceptional freight rate approvals. * Approve claim payments to clients and ensure receipt from the insurer. * Develop indicators for the claims and insurance department. * Perform provisioning and accounting control of departmental expenses. **Skills and Prerequisites** * **Experience in logistics, insurance, or risk management** * Completed undergraduate degree (Business Administration/Engineering/Logistics) * Strong interpersonal skills * Analytical ability * Communication and influence * Proactivity * Emotional intelligence * Teamwork * Organization **Tools and Knowledge** * Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (especially Excel); Google Sheets and Google Drive tools (Macros, Dashboards, complex formulas, and data automation). * Knowledge of or experience with logistics or risk management metrics and KPIs (loss ratio, insurance coefficient, cargo damage, no-show rate, theft index, and accident rate). * Proficiency in risk analysis tools (SWOT, risk level assessment, FTA) and analysis of insurance policies and documents such as DDRs and PGRs.
