About the Opportunity
We are seeking a Fleet Manager to lead the strategic and operational management of our light and heavy vehicle fleet, ensuring operational efficiency, cost control, vehicle availability, regulatory compliance, and operational safety.
**Key Responsibilities**
Manage and supervise the entire light and heavy vehicle fleet operation;
Plan and control preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure vehicle availability;
Develop and monitor fleet-related performance indicators (KPIs), including maintenance, fueling, productivity, and costs;
Formulate strategies to reduce operational costs and optimize resources;
Manage contracts with suppliers, repair shops, leasing companies, insurers, and service providers;
Control expenses related to fuel, tires, spare parts, maintenance, and vehicle documentation;
Ensure compliance with traffic, transportation, and occupational safety regulations;
Coordinate administrative and operational teams involved in fleet management;
Implement vehicle control, tracking, and monitoring processes;
Monitor accidents, traffic violations, documentation, licensing, and insurance matters;
Prepare managerial reports and present results to senior management;
Promote initiatives focused on safety, accident prevention, and continuous process improvement.
**Requirements**
Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Logistics, Engineering, Transportation Management, or related fields;
Proven experience managing light and heavy vehicle fleets;
Knowledge of automotive maintenance, cost management, and performance metrics;
Experience negotiating and managing supplier contracts;
Familiarity with transportation and vehicle management regulations;
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel;
Valid Brazilian driver’s license (Category B);
Willingness to travel when required.
**Desired Qualifications**
Postgraduate degree or specialization in Logistics, Fleet Management, or related areas;
Experience with fleet management systems, telematics, and vehicle tracking;
Knowledge of budgetary management and strategic planning;
Experience in transportation, engineering, energy, construction, or organizations operating large vehicle fleets;
Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies and process management.
