**What are we looking for?** ##### **Site Reliability Engineer Jr** **Key Responsibilities:** Assist throughout the entire service lifecycle, from inception and architecture to deployment and operations; Identify opportunities for improvement and implement automation; Ensure the highest possible level of automation across solutions; Sustainably enhance system capabilities through automation mechanisms and solutions that improve performance, scalability, and availability; Disseminate knowledge about SRE best practices; Assess process maturity, define optimization strategies, implement improvements, and measure results using data; Identify improvements in teams and guide adoption of best practices; Identify and resolve major issues impacting engineering velocity by building tools and making changes to existing code repositories; Plan and drive cultural transformation through System Reliability, including: use of architectural standards, capacity management, and cloud infrastructure used by developers; Ensure maintenance of production services by measuring and monitoring system availability, latency, and overall integrity. **Requirements:** * Entry-level experience in SRE, DevOps, infrastructure, or advanced support * Basic knowledge of AWS (core services, networking, and general concepts) * Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar) * Basic automation skills (simple scripts – Bash, Python, or similar) * Familiarity with CI/CD concepts * Understanding of monitoring and observability (logs and metrics) * Basic knowledge of SQL databases * Interest in learning FinOps practices * Proactive, analytical profile with strong willingness to learn **Nice-to-haves:** * Basic knowledge of containers (Docker) * Familiarity with Kubernetes * Experience with tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, or Datadog **Work Location: Remote** **Why build your career at Meta?** We offer autonomy, clear goals, and a dynamic, challenging environment where professionals can interact with diverse technologies, participate in all types of projects, bring new ideas, and work from anywhere in Brazil—and why not, the world.
