**Mid-Level Backend Developer** We are looking for a **Mid-Level Backend Developer** to drive people and businesses forward through innovation, with attitude, leadership, and a focus on getting things done. **Your impact in this role:** **Responsibilities:** * Work autonomously on designing and implementing technical solutions for the Current Account vertical. * Actively participate in architecture discussions, proposing improvements and anticipating risks in microservices environments. * Ensure quality through automated testing (unit tests), code reviews, and best practices (Clean Code, SOLID, Design Patterns). * Investigate and resolve production incidents, addressing root causes and preventing recurrence. * Contribute to observability: logs, metrics, and alerts (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, Dynatrace). * Support the team in code reviews, serving as a technical reference for less experienced developers. * Collaborate closely with Product to translate business requirements into viable technical solutions. * Participate in estimations, planning, and continuous team improvement. * Collaborate closely with the team, demonstrating strong technical communication and constructive discussion of solutions and architecture. ✅ **Essential Requirements:** * Solid experience in Java development using Java 8+ (ideally Java 17/21+). * Experience with Spring frameworks (Spring Boot, Spring Web/MVC, Spring Data JPA/Hibernate). * Hands-on experience with microservices architecture. * Experience with messaging and asynchronous processing (Kafka or similar). * Consistent experience with relational databases (preferably SQL Server). * Experience building REST APIs (versioning and contracts). * Experience with automated testing (unit tests, preferably with JUnit). * Knowledge of API security (OAuth2, JWT, and protection of sensitive data). * Experience with monitoring, logging, metrics, and production troubleshooting. * Experience with CI/CD pipelines. * **Nice-to-Have:** * Experience with containers (Docker) and orchestrated environments (Kubernetes – K8s). * Experience with Azure DevOps. * Hands-on experience with observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, Dynatrace). * Familiarity with cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP or similar). **Benefits:** Remote work allowance Flash Card Access to South Academy courses and certifications Financial education program **About South:** You’ll join a collaborative team that values autonomy and continuous improvement, working on projects with real business impact—where turning ideas into deliverables is part of everyday life.
